Name: Calintz Age: 23

Calintz is the Captain of the Tears of Blood. When he was a child in Fuget, he let in a half-Yason child (Astal), who ended up letting in the Yason and the village being destroyed. Since then Calintz completely despises all Yason, and kills them indiscriminately. He is fighting for the sake of revenge -- when he is first confronted by Ohra, Calintz asks if Orha knows any Yason with a butterfly shaped vindi, (Astal), proving that Fugut is always raging in the back of his mind. Shortly after Orha takes him hostage, wanting to exchange him from Reith, Carian and Azhadi have began their attack declaring Serina and Orha traitors. A Blast Worm, already mortally wounded, uses his remaining strength to free Calintz, as Carian and Azhadi are coming to kill him. This BlastWorm having the nobility to save him even as he is dying, surprises Calantz. Once released and in the corridor, he sees the results of Rheuma and feels something akin to pity for the Yason. He begins to question his motives when he learns Reith was actually the Yason Queen Amila. In his subconscious he is confronted by the Blast Worms. Azhadi claims Calintz is just as bloodthirsty as he is, which Calintz vehemently denies. Azhadi disappears and Orha is shown, calling Calintz pathetic for avoiding how ugly his true self is. Once Calintz admits his life has between twisted by hatred, Orha tells him he must atone for his sins. It takes some time, but the hatred that fueled Calintz burns out, and he decides to fight for Amila, who died to protect him and to stop Agreian and save the world.

Orha leaves Serina for Calintz to protect and faces off alone with Azhadi.In the end, the two don't care much for each other, but they certainly don't hate each other either. The two have much in common: Calintz is the leader of the Tears of Blood, Orha of the Blast Worms, though Orha fights to genuinely save his people whle Calintz had darker intentions.

By killing Agreian and the Light of Salvation being destroyed, Calintz realizes Amila's wish to see her people free from the curse of rheuma and their dependence on the Tree of Light.
